artist Beth Blighton.
All proceeds from the sale of the CBFC Calendars went to benefit the J. Madison Wright fund and the Beth Brown Memorial Foundation.
About the Year 2001 calendars...
We are pleased to report that through your generous support in ordering the CBFC calendars, we were able to make a $100 donation to the Beth Brown Memorial Foundation -- an educational charity set up by Clancy's parents in honor of his older sister, who died of leukemia in 1964. This charity awards scholarships to health care oriented students.
Proceeds from the sale of the last remaining CBFC Year 2001 Calendars went to benefit the J. Madison Wright Fund, to help defray the medical costs of Clancy's young Earth 2 co-star, who underwent a heart transplant due to a degenerative heart disease.
These calendars featured portraits and drawings of Clancy Brown created by award winning artists Barbara Gipson & Beth Blighton. Each calendar had twelve large, as well as twelve small drawings of Clancy Brown -- some that were published for the very first time!
